“I’ve Already Got A Website, but…”

Clunker

Having a website is a lot like having a car. Just because you have one doesn’t mean it is reliable, attractive or even that it runs. It just means you have one. Nothing could be more destructive to serious and intense ministry efforts than an ugly, rarely maintained church website. Believe me, we’ve seen it all.

Does any of this sound familiar?

“I have a website, but…

  • the guy who did it for us moved, and none of us knows how to access it or update it…
  • they guys who set it up are still working on it, when they have time, if they can get to it. They’re volunteers, you know…
  • the company we hired gave us this great proposal and everything, but the site is ugly and almost useless for what our needs are…
  • we were using this free site, but it’s so cookie-cutter that even our own parishioners don’t use it…
  • we paid for this site and it keeps crashing and we can’t get the service people to help us…
  • the person who designed this monstrosity is sensitive and we don’t want to hurt his feelings, but he won’t update it…
  • my (relative) did our website about ten years ago, and it’s not so bad, I guess…”

These are all real statements from real clients.

We have solved this issue for the American church.  We have been successfully putting churches and ministries online for 20 years (that’s not a typo). If you’re thinking about contacting us, it’s a call or email that is probably way over due.
